What makes Bibler tents worth their weight in gold? Because the person who designs, tests & uses these tents, Todd Bibler, puts his name on them; he insists that they be the best in the world.

Tent makers understand that in order for a tent to protect you, it must be waterproof & windproof. But when a tent is waterproofed, breath condenses on the inside & condensation is a big problem. Therefore, most quality tent makers use two separate layers, neither of which is waterproof. This adds weight, the tent is still humid & damp, & the two layers flap in the wind.

Bibler, on the other hand, developed a proprietary waterproof, windproof, breathable fabric called ToddTex. A thin layer of PTFE film is stretched over super-light ripstop fabric. Water droplets are 700 times larger than the microscopic pores of this fabric & cannot penetrate it. A fuzzy Nexus inner lining wicks interior condensation across & through the PTFE barrier to keep the tent interior dry & comfortable.

Using ToddTex laminated fabric, Bibler has created single-wall tents that are lighter, more packable & easier to set up than double-wall tents, & are totally waterproof, windproof & breathable.

Several other features described below enhance the design & usability of these extraordinary tents.

• Details: Interiors are always yellow for a bright, natural look, cheerful even in a storm. Floors are black; they dry quickly in the sun, even in cold weather. Floor material in most models is finely-woven 70 denier nylon taffeta, laminated w/a 1.5 mil polyurethane film. Zippers are dense YKK nylon coils with 17 coils per in. & nickel-plated sliders. All seams are sewn w/heavy-duty #69 nylon thread; stress points are stiched three to six times & reinforced w/hot-cut webbing or heat-sealed fabric for durable, fail-safe, waterproof seams.
• Poles: Poles are 7075-E9 .34 in. dia. Easton anodized aluminum fitted inside to maximize interior space. Pole ends are open to adjust the shockcord if necessary. Twistlock pole ties, which are easy to work & very strong, are included.
• Seam Taping: Most Bibler tents are completely seam taped & guaranteed to be leakproof. Tent designs minimize seams. Anchor points on the Alpine I-Tent & Big Wall Bivy are welded for strength & waterproofing, & most tents have RF welding to create durable, waterproof corner pockets where the poles end. And finally, all Biblelr tents are packaged w/Seam Grip, which can be used for added protection.
• Ventilation & Breathability: Every Bibler tent has adjustable, weatherproof vents to keep warm air inside, & provide cool air in the summer. Moisture dissipates through the breathable waterproof ToddTex fabric to minimize condensation.
• Inclusions: Unless specified otherwise, each tent is equipped w/tent, poles, stuff sacks, stakes, guyline, Seam Grip, syringe applicator & instruction & care manual.
• Guarantee: Bibler Tents are fully guaranteed to the original owner against defects in materials & workmanship. If a product fails due to a manufacturing defect, Bibler will promptly repair or replace it at their option, free of charge. Repairs due to accident, improper care, or negligence, where Bibler is not at fault, will be performed for a reasonable charge.
