SOS Avalanche Probe
Designed from 12 mm aluminum tubing, the SOS probe utilizes a new quick-release ratchet locking mechanism for rapid set-up that isn't affected by adverse weather conditions.

The probe comes in 2 sizes. The regular probe is 9 ft. long (2.8 m) w/7 sections & weighs 13 oz. (370 grams). The mini probe is 7.5 ft. long (2.2 m) w/7 sections & weighs 4.7 oz. (133 grams). Both come w/a sturdy packcloth carrying case.

An optional SOS probe tape is available. It is easily applied & gives an accurate cm scale to assist w/snow surveys & judging depth. Please specify when ordering.
