This is the best multi-feature device available for tactical situations. It delivers hearing protection from gunfire & flash-bangs; adjustable frequency tuning; a wireless connection to a walkie-talkie; & sound amplification of whispered commands, people moving, & guns being cocked.

The Tactical Ear III amplifies sounds up to 9 times normal hearing, enough to hear even the slightest noise during stakeouts, surveillance & SWAT interventions, while providing 29 decibels of noise reduction for guns & flash-bangs. A safety circuit shuts off the device when a gun is discharged, further protecting hearing.

The device fits comfortably in back of the ear & weighs only 0.12 oz. Tactical Ear technology allows for omnidirectional (360 degree range) hearing w/emphasis on high frequency sounds such as: muted or low level conversation between law enforcement officers or suspects, the loading of a gun chamber, the clicking of a gun's safety, or footsteps on abrasive surfaces.

The Tactical Ear III has a separate neck loop which can be fitted under your vest so there is nothing to snag on equipment. The neck loop has an ultra high frequency transmitter which transmits to the Tactical Ear so you & only you can hear transmissions. You can use the microphone attached to the neck loop or your usual mike for speaking.
