Brunton Multi-Navigator MNS
The Brunton Multi-Navigator is designed to withstand extreme weather conditions. The built-in True-Magnetic compass can work independently of the GPS receiver so you can navigate w/o satellite assistance, yet update your position as needed. This battery conservation feature delivers weeks of battery power rather than hours. - GPS Receiver Features: 12-channel parallel receiver
- Position update rate is once per second when in continuous navigation mode
- Accuracy is 15 meters RMS
- Time to fix - first time is 1-2 minutes; cold (no navigation for 4 hours) is 45 seconds; warm (navigation for 4 hours) is 5 - 10 seconds
- Reacquisition of lost satellite reception is 0.1 second
- Built-in patch antenna
- Navigation Features: StraightHome, a one button, find your way home program for easy-to-use navigation
- Data I/O is NMEA 0183; out
- Nexus point-to-point, in/out
- Digital GPS ready
- 1,000 waypoints w/8-character name (stored w/barometric pressure based altitude)
- 10 reversible routes w/up to 100 waypoints each
- 5,000 additional track log positions; track is automatically recorded by time or distance & stored for display using mapping software
- 109 map datums
- 16 grid systems including UTM, MGRS, Swiss, Australian, New Zealand, Swedish & U.K. grid systems
- TrueMagnetic Compass Features: Accurate to 2 in. w/1 in. resolution
- Automatically compensates for Earth's local magnetic declination & points to a stored waypoint, w/o moving
- MagniPointer feature quickly creates 'point & press' waypoints
- Battery life is extended when using the TrueMagnetic Compass w/the GPS receiver off
- StormWatch Barometer Features: Current Pressure (inHg, mmHg, mbar, hPa units)
- Displays rising, falling, & steady
- Barometric pressure range is 300 to 1,100 mbar (9.00 to 33.00 inHg)
- 36 hour pressure history
- 12 hour weather forecast displays sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, rainy, storm warning
- Logging performs when power is off
- Altimeter Features: Accurate to 1 meter (3 ft.) immediately after calibration
