The HydraStorm™ GMAK is a true gas mask adapter kit for professionals. The fittings each feature military configuration sealing valves to prevent ingress of contamination into your water supply & your mask. The valves only open when the mating parts are correctly aligned & pressed together. When disconnected, your water supply remains protected. The tube on the bite valve adapter is supplied; otherwise, the integral valves block off flow for full flexibility in use.

The GMAK is suitable for OC & CS environments. It is designed to fit any US or Canadian protective mask equipped w/a drink tube, & can be used w/almost any hydration reservoir system on the market. It allows personnel to remain hydrated while wearing a mask in a chemical environment over extended periods. It is a welcome addition to the gear of military personnel, civil disturbance units, corrections officers & entry teams.

The kit materials & components are constructed from glass reinforced polymers & rubber, materials in service w/US & Canadian forces for handling potable water. The interface geometry for the transfer of water from the reservoir to the user's protective mask is the same as that used in the US & Canadian military NBC systems.. It provides triple protection of the water supply by providing positive, spring-loaded lock-off valves at all interfaces. The valve assemblies are tested to meet or exceed over 2 atmospheres (greater than 30 psi) pressure resistance, making it a useful tool for SEAL combat swimmers or SDV operations. They have been tested during police crowd management training for resistance to typical riot control agents, including OC, CS & CN.
