ABC Massif Ice Axe
The Massif's light weight & durable construction make it a great value, perfect for outdoor programs or as a first axe. Combining a hardened aluminum alloy shaft w/a cold-sheared steel head & welded adze makes it very strong & remarkably lightweight. The unique spike provides excellent snow penetration & the smooth shaft make probing for crevasses a breeze.

The Massif comes complete w/a sliding wrist leash. Average weight is 17.8 oz. It is available in a wide range of sizes from 50 cm to 90 cm to provide a perfect shaft length for everyone.
